Ashly, better known as Ash, has been dreaming of getting her headphone since she was five. She has been counting down the years, months, weeks, days, hours, minutes, and seconds until she gets her headphones. All her life she has been surrounded by love, mostly. Now tht the day has come so soon, she is beyond ecstatic about getting her headphones. The only problem if that her soulmate doesn’t respond. She knows they’re there because she heard someones breath hitched as she spoke into them, but nothing else.
Why wont her soulmate talk to her?

Cedrik is a lot of things. He’s nice, smart, and talented. He is a fighter inside and out. So why is it that when he receives word that his headphones have a message for him all he can do is suck in a breath and kick them aside?
Cedrik has had a pretty amazing life. His parents loved each other. His best-friend, a huge gamer, has always been their for him. Not once has anyone he cared about let him down, and maybe that’s why he’s having such a hard time, because lately all he’s been doing is letting everyone down. The thing he wants to do most is out of the question, so he can’t even release some of his tension and anger. This was never supposed to happen to him. He was supposed to go to college, not be sitting in this hospital wondering when he’s going to go.
