Please don't!
Please leave me!
Let me GO!
NO!!!"
"Ru, wake up! Wake up Ru!"
I felt like someone was jerking me and I sat up with a start.
"What happened? What are you doing here so early?", I asked.
"You were having a nightmare again. I wish I could do something for you. But I feel like I'm so useless.", she said.
"Tch! Stop saying that, okay? You are the reason why I'm still alive. If you wouldn't have found help at the right time, then I would have been a goner till now. ", I said.
"You give me too much credit but the actual thank goes to that man, whom we have not got a chance to thank." , she said.
"Yeah, that's true. I wish I could meet him once and get a chance to pay him back somehow. But I guess God has some other plans.", I felt all my hopes crushing again.
"Don't worry dear, you will meet him one day and I'm sure about that. Moreover you should stop regretting and freshen up quickly because Zahra Di has already called me fifteen times uptil now.", she said and this lifted my spirits and I laughed a little.
"Oops! I'm so sorry, I forgot that today was her haldi ceremony. I'll just take 2 minutes.", I blinked my right eye at her while showing all of my 32 teeth,which I love to show.
"You and your two minutes! Tch! Be quick, I'm waiting.", she said and rolled her eyes.
"Okaeeeeeeee!", I said.
You must be thinking what is going on. Well, I'm sorry I forgot to introduce myself. Hi! I'm Roshni Sehgal and my nickname is Ru. And the one who was talking with me is my one and only bestie, Sarah Rajvansh. And Zahra Di is her elder sister, to whose haldi ceremony we are going today. Sarah and I stay in a rented apartment close to our company,Tech Company, where we work together. And about why I was shouting in my sleep, that's a depressing and dark past of mine. I'll tell you that some other time because seriously I don't want to waste my mood on such a happy day. I should get going or she will shout again. 😁😁😁
