I wake up to the metal door creaking open. I immediately scramble up and glance at his hands. No knife. I cautiously meet his piercing blue eyes.

"For the thousandth time, Ash, I won't hurt you." He rolls his eyes. "I am just here for taking care of you." He tosses clothes to me. I look at my clothes I have on. It's a green blouse and black jeans. I sigh and grab the new clothes, but before I change, I stare at Lucas.

"Are you going to leave?" I finally ask. He just shakes his head 'no' and chuckles. I scowl and try not remind myself he is there, even though I can feel his gaze on me.

"You're beautiful, you know that?" He smiles. I blush and look down. Damn it, Ashley. He is your kidnapper for God's sake.

"Right, it's an off day when I don't have my kidnapper tell me I'm beautiful." I say sarcastically. He sighs.

"Isn't it?" He gets up from the stool he was sitting on and comes toward me. I hold up my hands.

"Stay away from me." I growl. He crosses his arms.

"Does it look like I'm going to hurt you?" He holds his arms out and I scan him. His clothes are clean, fancy even. His Polo shirt is slightly too small and you could clearly see his toned chest. I travel my gaze up to his hair, which is honey-colored, and a bit messy. It sticks up but looks sort of soft. He is right. He looks innocent, cute even. No, I tell myself. Stop it.

"It looks like your going to a beach party." I say flatly.

"That does sound fun, but no. Actually, we are going to go for a jog. Chop chop. Hustle, let's go." He exits the tiny bedroom and leaves me there, shocked. I have never exited the house. It is a large yet nice white house with four rooms, including my bedroom. I'm lucky I'm not in a dungeon. I sigh. So that's why he gave me leggings. I shrug and follow him into the kitchen, where he is grabbing waters.

"Heads up." He tosses one to me, and I catch it. Barely. It hits the top of my head. He snickers and I glare at him.

"Where is Noah?" I ask. Noah is the most intimidating person I have ever met. The lead kidnapper.

"I'm right here, sugar." I spin around and before I can register what is around me, a hand covers my mouth and a sharp pain travels from my gut up to my ribcage. I squeal in pain and my eyes get blurry with tears. I faintly hear Lucas yelling at Noah, and I suddenly don't feel his presence, but before I fall, someone grabs me. The smell of rain and leaves overcome me. Lucas.

"Just keep breathing, Ash." He says. His scent is the last this I remember before I black out.
