“What do you mean gone, a powerful demon is trapped inside.”

“It’s not in the cage. the cage was left open.”

“Go! You must find him now, before he possesses people and destroy their lives. Remember… do not listen to the voice.” He commanded

PART I

Tony

October 31,2020 Southside of Milwaukee

16year old Tony walked home from soccer practice, kicking rocks and cans through an alley that lead to his apartment building. He sees a book that has two red eyes on the cover; he picks it up and puts it in his backpack.

As he continues to walk, he sees 3 boys and 2 girls walking his way. A girl with red hair waves at him and calls his name. Tony waves back, “Hi Marci.” he said.

The boy next to Marci got jealous “Hey loser, who you saying Hi too.” He said angry. Confused and not knowing what he had done wrong Tony stops walking and stares at the boy approaching him. “leave him alone, MARK!!” said Marci. The boy ignores her, runs up to Tony and tackles him down to the ground.

On top of Tony, Mark closes his hand, turning it into a fist. He swings left and right jabs hitting him in the face. Tony punches Mark back, head butts him making him stumble back off. When the other boys tried to intervene, Marci tripped them both with the help of her friend Zami. Tony stands up, tries to run but steps on his shoelaces making him fall on the ground. As soon as he tried getting up, Mark appears kicking him in the face.

The boys arrive and together with Mark they beat him up. With his hands up in his face covering himself, the boys roughly kick and stump his face. One boy even tried taking off his Jordan shoes. But Tony fought for them, they were the last thing his father gave him before leaving. This made Mark so angry, he punches Tony hard in the jaw, making a tooth fly out of his bloody mouth.

Marci and Zami ran towards them, “STOP HITTING HIM!!.” She said. Mark turns around ordering Marci to shut up, furious Marci tells them to stop or she would call the cops. Not wanting to disappoint his father due to him being an ex-cop, he and the boys run away.. Marci said sorry to Tony and ran away with Zami.

When everybody was gone, Tony cried in pain as he got up. Standing, he cleans his tears and bloody face with the white t-shirt he was wearing.
