Ryder

Ryder laid on his bed restlessly, thinking about last night. His girlfriend had broken up with him at last night's party. Ryder didn't quite understand why. After all, she was the one who cheated on him. "How could she have accused me of such a thing as cheating?" He thought. Maybe she just hated him too much. Ryder had to admit, his relationship with Sadie was pretty toxic. She only dated him because of his popularity and he only dated her because of her looks (and to make his friends jealous). They pretended to be madly in love but in reality, they hated each other's guts. Ryder guessed that she had gotten tired of acting as she loved him when she didn't. It didn't matter to him, he wouldn't have a problem finding a girlfriend who would actually love him. Ryder wondered what Sadie had told her friends after she stormed away from him. "She probably told them that I broke up with her and that she was heartbroken even though I cheated on her." He thought. Ryder knew the school would probably be buzzing about their breakup for at least a week but then find something else to gossip about or make rumors about. That a how it usually went. At the school that he goes to, people are always wondering who broke up with who and whose fault was it? Sadie breaking up with Ryder was bad timing because junior prom was only two weeks away! How was he supposed to find a date in two weeks?
