Lost
"One of the best things I have read on Inkitt. As someone who writes his own memories, this tale really speaks to me. It’s too bad Inkitt doesn’t put short stories on the homepage shelves, as I think many people would love this one. Have you written anything else?"
Short Story on Fickle Memories
"It is a pity so many stories here on Inkitt remain unread. This one is a prime example of that. The story is short and purposely weirding you out, but most of all, I felt it was very sad. The German word “Sehnsucht”, literally saying “the sigh of one’s soul” seems appropriate here. It makes me very curious about who this character is, what country she’s from, how the rest of her life has been aside from the little snippets that were mentioned. However, it became clear this person is empathic and focused on others instead of herself, never truly enjoying life (the bit about water and food). The way I saw it, it’s ultimately a tragic tale of an older woman (barely 70) that is unfortunately losing her sanity, her memories and therefore herself. She therefore hangs onto a few memories that were gripping and changing her forever."
