The beginning
“Come on guys, we can still win this,” Daniel said.
His team believed in him that they can still make a huge comeback if they put their minds into it. As the match progresses, one clash dictated the end of the game. Daniel’s team was wiped out thus, the opposing team wins the cash prize of ten thousand dollars.
Daniel believed that they still need to practice despite coming in second place. His whole team agreed with him. As they part ways in the venue, a man wants to offer them sponsorship.
“Are you the team captain?” the man said.
“Yes, I am,” Daniel said.
" I want to offer your team a sponsorship,” the man said.
“I work for this company,” the man said.
The man gave them a business card. Daniel’s team was overjoyed that they were given sponsorship to play a game. The man said that they can provide a booth camp for them to build experience and team chemistry.
“We can think about this in school, for now just enjoy your time,” Daniel said.
They part ways after they were told about the sponsorship. Daniel arrived at his house. The house was awfully quiet, then he entered the living room, there he saw his father, mother, and sister. He told them that his team was given a sponsorship. His mother and sister were shocked while his father wants to talk to him.
“Son, congrats on acquiring a sponsorship, but don’t get your hopes up yet,” His dad said.
“I get it dad, thank you for supporting me,” Daniel said.
“Here the business card,” Daniel said.
His mother was shocked that it’s true that Daniel was given a sponsorship. After talking they go to the dining room for dinner. His sister was happy that his brother was chasing his dream to become a pro-player in a game called “Nexus”.
After dinner, one of his teammates called. They want to discuss walking to school while talking about their next tournament.
"Hey man, we will pick you up tomorrow morning," Sean said.
"Sure, I will create a new practice schedule," Daniel said.
"Okay, see you tomorrow," Sean said.
Daniel went to sleep early. He went to his room then goes to sleep. As the morning comes, the alarm clock starts ringing at 6 a.m. Daniel was startled. He smells a delicious dish, he then notices that his breakfast is gonna be good. So he changed his clothes, then goes down to the dining room. He saw that the food was ready, he was ready to dig in but his mother told him to wait for his sister and father.
"Wake your sister up, will you?" his mother said.
"Sure, mom," Daniel said.
He goes upstairs to wake his sister up. His sister's room was beside his room, so he went inside her sister's room. There he saw his sister lying on the bed. His sister's room was a mess because there was trash everywhere, clothes, and books lying on the ground.
"Hey, wake up, mom cooked your favorite food," Daniel said.
His sister turned around, he has no choice but to use force to wake her up. He pulled his sister's legs a little, she is still asleep. So Daniel had an idea to pull his sister off her bed. He pulled at the count of three. One, two, three. At the count of three, he pulled his sister out of bed. His sister was startled as she falls to the floor.
"Ouch, why the hell did you do that?" His sister said.
"You don't want to wake up, right," Daniel said.
"Come breakfast is ready, Kaye," Daniel said.
They both go downstairs. Kaye was still in pain, she touched the top of her head and there was a bump. As they approach the dining room, Kaye smells a delicious aroma of a fried chicken. Daniel opened the door and there it was fried chicken for breakfast.
"Mom, why did you let brother wake me up?" Kaye said.
"It's his duty," Mom said
Kaye pouts, then Daniel laughs at her because of her face. Daniel comforts his little sister. Then the doorbell rang, Daniel's mom goes to the door and saw five boys waiting for him.
"Daniel! Your friends are here," Mom said.
"Coming," Daniel said.
He rushed to the door to meet his friends. He called them in to have breakfast with them. They refused because they are gonna be late for school. Daniel looks at the clock and heads out.
"Mom, I'm going to school now," Daniel said.
Daniel and his friends go to school. On the way to school, they discussed the wrong things that they did during the tournament. Then suddenly a call from an unknown number interrupted their conversation. Daniel answered the call, and it was the voice of the man that offered them a sponsorship.
"Hello... Who is this?" Daniel said.
"Are you Daniel Strada?" The man said.
"Please be ready tomorrow for the arrival of our company's limousine and your team will be transported to your new Bootcamp," The man said.
Daniel and his team were overjoyed that their sacrifices were not just fooling around. The phone call ended. The six of them now arrive at the school's gate, just in time during the flag ceremony.
"Okay guys, get ready tomorrow," Daniel said
"Of course, we gotta spread the news," Sean said.
"No! It might cause us some problems during a tournament," Daniel said.
The flag ceremony started after the six of them dropped their bag on their respective seats. The flag ceremony starts, the six of them made it in time. After the flag ceremony, their homeroom class started.
"Good morning teacher,"
The whole class greeted the teacher as soon as she stepped inside the classroom. The whole class happily greeted the teacher. The teacher smiles in return and said, " thanks class you can sit now."
