ICONIC
The Stage lights
London's pov
(Third person)
Wonders for if you ever have the feeling of your heart thrumming in your chest so hard that you feel as if it would tear out of the tough. Ever had the feeling of rapid movements in your stomach, it felt on fire yet cool at the same time. Butterflies in your stomach was what they called it.
You swallow hard because your throat had acquired a large bile in your throat. You skin felt cool, as if something was literally crawling up your skin, trailing on the sensitive cells of your body. Toes curling, and breaths released in hopes of releasing the tenseness within you. Your core heated, and yet cool with your own arousal dripping down on your underwear.
Warmth spread through your chest, and skin on fire with rapid tingles.
London wanted to shut her eyes, and enjoy the feeling of those delicious tingles on her skin, but her eyes wouldn't obey the command of her brain as she watched the sight of Iconic.
Izan had taken leas up the stage. The Latino male had slick caramel skin that glinted with a magnet hue under the stage lights. He was snug in brown leather pants and a simple white button up short sleeve. He left the first three buttons unattended so his caramel chest were out on display.
Izan had raven black, shiny, hair, curly and left tussled on his cheeks. His hair looked like shiny darkness flushed down on his cheeks, curly, and looking so soft that the temptation to reach out and feeling resonated throughout the fans.
He hard sharp features --- a V shaped jaw, that looked sharp enough to cut through something, and full cheeks. His eyebrows were thick and black like his eyelashes that hooded his sharp turquoise---blue eyes.
His voice unlike Hakeem that had stepped back for him to take lead didn't have a raspy edge on it, no, his was smooth, roughly deep, but smooth, and his accent resonating through it had s sexy undertone to his song.
His waist thrusted, and hands moving around his body, and he danced to the best of his song.
"Mamacita, please use me, I want my hands rubbing all over that sweet skin of yours..."
His voice went higher this time, and the rest of Iconic backed up the intensity of the song with low undertones.
"Baby, are you really an angel? Or a little vixen, killin' me with the way you grind up against me....!"
London bunched her cloth. The song was so intense it impaled into the bodies of the fans, yet sensational that it caressed their skins trailing slowly to drive them in the kind of pleasure only music can provide.
Izan continued. Moving to the beat of his lyrics, driving the audience into intensity then bringing them down from their high. The music was a venom, causing an implosion within the audience when the beat died and the voices ended.
The musicians granted a courteous goodbye, before climbing off the stage and the video ended. London's heart was still beating rapidly. She was still lost in the high that Iconic had thrusted her on, just like the others behind her, watching the video.
London's hand unbunched her cloth, and she blinked rapidly trying to regain some sense.
She turned back around unsurprisingly finding the people behind her back.
"Seriously, guys?" London quipped with a raised eyebrow.
One girl from the little crowd that had gathered behind London groaned. Nayah, London's friend placed a hand on her shoulder.
"It's Iconic latest video, you really didn't expect us not to watch it with you?" Nayah replied, slumping on the chair next to London.
Nayah had been London's best friend for a while now. The short south african had smooth, flawless mocha skin, almost comparable with sweet chocolate. Her hair was almost like the color of her skin, falling down to her chest.
She had deep-brown eyes, that was nearest to black. Her lips were pink-like but seemed to be more comparable with an unnatural cream color.
Nayah was just as starstruck for Iconic as London was. Who wouldn't be, with one of the most famous bands in the world. Since they were teens they'd been obsessed with Iconic. They'd never actually attended any concerts but they literally knew everything about them.
London rolled her eyes, knowing how cheap her friend could be. She loved Iconic but London knew she wouldn't spend money trying to get their music, she'd lost likely wait for it to cheapen before going out to buy it, or just wait for someone to download the album and have them share it with her.
London leaned back on her chair and dropped her phone on the table, nervous as to what was coming up any minute soon. Was she ready? How could she? This was her first real event. This was more serious than anything she'd ever showcased, because this was it.
"Lonnie, Nayah! It's time!" A white skinned young man called from the other side of the door.
Lonnie tensed. This was it. It was time to put in everything she'd ever practiced, all the videos of Iconic. She had to crush this if she was finally going to be what she wanted, if she was finally going to meet the dream band. Iconic.
She stood up from the dressing chair, and took one glance at the mirror. The olive skinned girl was dressed a dazzling knee short dress. The dress was silver color, sparkling like a disco bulb, and thin sleeved.
They'd applied oil for both her and Nayah their skin would glow beautiful. She had pink blush applied on her chubby cheeks. Her figure popped even in the dress that wasn't quite shaped. She blinked severally trying to loosen up-to the fake eyelashes they made her use.
The full fake lashes hooded bright forest green eyes, but they still managed to hint out with how bright and unnatural they were.
"Lon, what are you doing? We're up!" Nayah yelled, grabbing her attention.
Lonnie scrambled from the dressing room and head out with Nayah.
The crowd wasn't huge. Not at all, it was a small number of people. But they were very important.
London swallowed, her green eyes narrowed at Giada Giovanni. The iron lady. That woman was one of the most prominent managers in the music world, and she worked for Iconic.
The woman had worked wonders for the boy band ever since she started working for them.
The Italian had quite pale skin. Her side parted brown hair was pulled up lousy bun, whilst a few stray strands fell on her face. The woman wore a skin tight pencil silver skirt with a silk silver long sleeved top that she left the first two buttons unattended.
Her face was oblong. A small black mole nearest to the tip of her jaw. Sher obviously applied eyeliner on the line of her void, steel black eyes.
London's eyes followed from her expensive clothing to her long straight nails, painted red like the lipstick applied on her lips, to the diamond stunned bracelet on her left wrist.
She crossed her leg, and sat upright. Her shoes were black heels, with red unders. Louboutins, London thought in her head.
"Alright ladies! I'd like to introduce you to someone..." The small man in front of London and Nayah trailed off, turning to Giada.
His hands gestured at Giada as he introduced.
"Giada, this is Nayah Burger, and London Honest, our last two finalist"
Giada's eyes narrowed at both woman as if scrutinizing her.
"London, like the city?" Her Italian accent welded on her every word. It was almost too attractive listening to her speak.
London nodded. "Y-yes, ma'am" London cursed herself internally for stuttering, but she couldn't help being intimidated by this woman.
"Alright. You may begin" The small MA that was the instructor slapped at the girls, scurrying them to begin.
London caught the mic thrown at her. Swallowing she waited for the beat to play.
(Bad girl --- By empire caste)
"If you really got a thing for a bad, bad girl I'll give it to you, ow Oh na na na na na Oh na na na na na"
Nayah began the songs, waking around London seductively.
London's heart was pounding so it was her turn.
"I'm looking for a boy That can make a lot of noise When the trouble is going down I'm looking for a dude Who can get me in the mood With a real big bank account Break it, you can fix it like MacGyver Brady buddy, act just like his father So tell me you're the guy who about the life If you are, then I'll turn you out"
London's timid voice sang out, trying to feign as much confidence as Nayah did.
"I'm looking for a hot boy So I can be a hot girl If you can be a bad boy Then I can be a bad girl ---"
It was going great, everything seemed smooth and as plan, though London found it hard to walk as seductively as Nayah did, she found herself trying to do a seductive walk with poweress forward.
"I'm looking for a hot boy So I can be a hot girl If you can be a bad boy Then I can be ---"
Then the beat stopped. London fell. The heel snapped and she fell. How did it happen? She wasn't exactly sure.
Tears welled in her eyes. She knew wouldn't make the cut for opening show for Iconic.
She lost to her bestfriend.
Giada said nothing. She simply took her silver purse and left.
