A County Line operation is selling heroin in Northampton England. A Bosnian man, Markovic is found dead with his throat cut. Detective Chief Inspector Brian Thomas and Detective Inspector Sheila Grey investigate. They uncover an organised gang using Cuckoo nests to distribute their product. The gang is struggling to identify an interloper undercutting them and moving in on their territory.. As suspicions grow, gang members turn on one another and the body count grows. Thomas & Grey find themselves pitted against a cunning adversary he’ll bent on taking over and becoming the new drug king in the town.
