Chapter 1
I was in chemistry class one of the most boring classes ever I don’t even know how this is supposed to help me in the future anyways, as I was thinking about what dinner would be for today I got called to the principles office, I didn’t quite know why I was called to be there because I’m pretty sure I did not do anything this time.
Once there, I saw a man, a woman, the principle, my parents, and a dog. Wait what, a dog? Well I’m pretty sure the small creature with a tail some sharp teeth and fur that looks like it just got electrocuted is a dog, do you think it actually got electrocuted? Nahhhhhhh I don’t think so. Wait if it looks electrocuted now then what will it look like when it actually gets electrocuted, I should probably stop this thinking. But really how messy would it look like? I guess we’ll never know unless we try!
Back to reality I’m in the principles office and my mother was crying and my dad looked really sad for some reason, and that was when I knew that some thing was really wrong, my mind immediately goes to all the bad stuff that could’ve happened.
1. Did grandma die? No I don’t think so she’s like a lion in the forest.......... ok ok she’s not, she could barely even walk and you need to scream in her ear if you’re expecting her to hear you but who could those two people be, so definitely not her.
2. Could my parent have committed a crime and they will be sent to jail for the rest of their lives and those two are the couple who will adopt me? OMG MY PARENTS ARE CRIMINALS! But it doesn’t make sense, the police won’t let them be free and alone here if they were actually wanted right? so I’m guessing its a no for this one too.
3. Could I be some creature that isn’t from earth and they just discovered that and those are the two scientists who are going to take me and do some experiments on me to discover what kind of creature I am? Oh fuck no, I don’t want those psychos doing experiments on me but there isn’t any other explanation oh my god how did I not know that before. I don’t want that I have a whole life ahead of me I’m still 16 for all I know bro.
I came out of my thoughts when the principle stood up and said in his deepannoying voice ” I’m gonna give you some privacy to explain everything to her and figure things out if you’ll excuse me please.” and by that he was out the door leaving me with my parents and those psychotic scientists. After like a minute or so my father finally spoke ” Lexi, honey we didn’t want you to know that way, me and your mother planned on telling you this once you were 18 but I guess there’s changing in plans.”
“Tell me what dad?” I said in a shaky voice, that’s it I thought that’s were my life ends they’re gonna take me to a room and keep me locked there and they’ll torture me and make me go crazy and with all the drugs and pills they’ll give me, I’ll be officially a psycho.
“Were not your biological parents Lexi” aaaand I’m done for it.
Wait wait wait what? That was not what I expected, am I adopted? Are those two my real parents? That man is like in his late 50′s I guess and the woman in her 60′s ewww noo. I cant believe that, my whole life was a lie what am I supposed to do now?
