Author's Note

Hello,

This story is based on a fictional world I’ve created following characters that are my own. Any likeness to other people, places, or characters is purely coincidental. Please keep in mind that this is a fictional and fantastical world, so things that are not realistic in our world may be possible here. This story is mature due to occasional scenes of violence, explicit language, and sexual themes.

To ensure clarity and for future reference, here is a description of a few characters and places (sans spoilers).

Kingdom of Sidus: The Kingdom of Sidus is a magical land ruled, currently, by Queen Sidera. It is a large, wealthy country consisting of landscapes that are mostly mountainous, cold, and surrounded by forests. There are a few main cities and many smaller cities which house the people of Sidus. The capitol city of Sidus is called Meliora; this is where the Queen resides. The people here follow the old ways, which means they learn magic freely and without much governance. Queen Sidera believes in the right of her people to practice any of the 12 magical subjects they please, so long as they do little harm to others.

Zodiaci; The Covens: After the beginning of The Witching War, a group of rebels against the monarchy migrated to a mostly uninhabited portion of the country and formed their own governing system. They believed magic should be controlled and limited to specialties; thus, came the birth of the 12 Covens. The rebels renamed this newly claimed land Zodiaci and founded 12 covens aligned with the zodiac constellations. Each coven was appointed a leader and given 2 magical specialties. People within the Covens must focus their studies on the magical subjects of their birth or chosen coven. Despite having emancipated themselves from the monarchy, the Witching War didn’t end. To this day, the war continues nearly 70 years after it began with no end in sight. Some even say that the land is cursed; dooming them to fight until there’s nothing left.

Primary and Secondary magical subjects of the Zodiaci Covens:

Scorpius-Water, blood

Capricornus-Earth, weather

Aries-Fire, light

Gemini-Wind, fertility

Virgo-Earth, necromancy

Hey there!

I just finished reading your story and… wow. I’m honestly still thinking about it. Your writing pulled me right in, the characters, the emotions, the atmosphere, it all felt so real and immersive.
As I was reading, I couldn’t help but picture it as a comic. The way you build scenes and tension? It would shine with visuals. I’m a freelance artist, and I specialize in turning powerful stories like yours into vivid, emotionally-driven comics. I’d be beyond excited to collaborate with you and bring your world to life on the page.
No pressure at all! I just wanted to reach out in case this is something you’ve ever thought about. If you're curious or just wanna chat more about the idea, feel free to hit me up anytime on
