"This story is very unique. It is well written with a great plot, heartwarming characters, and a great example of beings overcoming their fears of differences and becoming friends. Even though a second book would be nice because I fell in love with the characters, I think I’m happy to leave things where they are as I don’t want to see the little ones experience any more harm or tragedy. Will look forward to other stories by this author though."

Gulliver's Travels but in space!
"I never write reviews but this book was such a pleasure to read that it would be criminal of me not to share my thoughts. First of all, thanks to the author for such an enjoyable read! I have been reading and listening to copious amounts of sci-fi books for about 7 years now and this one ranks in my top 5. Again, thank you for your time and effort; they were not given in vain! Engaging narrative, sympathetic characters, and expertly portioned chapters strung me along so that I, on multiple occasions, stayed up much later than intended just to read one more chapter. The challenge of a middle-aged protagonist was an interesting change of pace that was very well executed and believably detailed. The worldbuilding was very effectively composed of scattered subtle details, avoiding the typical blocky walls of text that most books seem to use. Last but not least; the characters. They are emotional, distinct, rational, and likeable. If an author can make you care about the struggles of a character, the pinnacle achievement of storytelling has been achieved, and this author did not disappoint! This book is a stand-alone story with the full effort and quality that one would expect to be given to an entire series. Instead of allowing an open-ended possibility of a sequel, this story concludes with itself and I prefer it that way. As far as I am concerned, this is now the prime example of an excellent self-contained story."
