I think it’s one of those universal truths that all fairy tales begin about the same way: “Once upon a time life was awesome - and then it started to suck.” Think about it; Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Hansel and Gretel. All of them had decent lives until it all went to shit. Well I’m hardly what you’d called a classic prince charming, and this definitely isn’t some far away kingdom, but when you break it down, my story really isn’t all that different.
