Grace's POV
"Grace can you come here my brother and his best friend are on their way here because they wanna hangout with us okay his best friend is quiet so you guys should get along with them both " my best friend Ava says.
"Hey shouldn't we go shopping for food and all that" I ask her, "yeah we can also do you wanna go back home with them it's all up to you"she asks me. What I haven't said is Ava and I aren't humans we are actually fairies yes the one where an inch big and have wings and lie in the forest or fairy houses kids make we also can get a piece of jewlery where are wings aren't seen by humans and we are both around 5'2 we have humans jobs and all that I don't like going "home" we both have human jobs what i mean about "home" is where the family that abandoned me lives my birth giver gave me to Ava's parents because before she did that they were very close where all the faries lives my actual family is my best friend Ava yes she still says my brother but I don't mind I don't really see him my brother he's older then us and he wasn't always at the house my birth giver gave me to them.
Ava and I have always gotten along and been glued together I have always had a room with our family but me and Ava usually slept in the same room my birth giver made it known to me when I was little she was actually my mom you she didn't want me and I was a mistake and that no other family wanted me either but that doesn't bother me as much as it use too they accept what I'm into are mostly into some type of dynamic.
"Ohhhh grace come here" Ava yells "I'm coming I gotta put shoes on" "okay also we might gotta wait I’m not 100% sure when they will be here Titus isn’t good with directions and I highly doubt Diesel will listen to him” Ava says as I’m coming down the stairs. “Hey breath I can call which ever one” Ava hands me my phone”can you call Titus Diesel will mostly answer” “okay” as I grab the phone and call Titus.
Someone picks up “hello Ava” says Titus “I’m wrong person but Ava is stressing we gotta get food in the house but we don’t know if we have enough time to go cause y’all are on your way” I ramble on, “it’s okay Grace and we’re actually at the door so we can all go together okay” he say “okay” I mumble and he hangs up.
“Ava they are at the door he said we can go with them I’m going to go to my room real quick and grab a sweatshirt and my wallet and headphone” I say as I run up the stairs and grab my Nightmare Before Christmas hoodie and my mermaid wallet. I run back down stairs and I see Titus hugging Ava and her hugging back and Diesel is standing around looking through the tiny house me and Ava can afford together.
"There you are Grace I was thinking we can go to the store drop off the groceries here and we can show them around" Ava says "sure we can do that i'm gonna make sure though I don't got work cause they like randomly add me on the schedule even though I wasn't on before" "yeah I have noticed that they been doing that we can actually stop on the way to the store it's on the way" "yeah let's just do that" I see Diesel looking at me I smile at him he smiles back I'm in my thoughts as we leave I try and see in my had if Ava told me if the boys knew I'm in a dynamic but I can't recall anything.
"Hey Grace you good" Diesel says as he's sitting next to me "yeah I was just in my head and I didn't realize that we got in who's ever truck this is" I mumble.
"We took my truck Ava is driving cause I trust her more then Titus with driving also cause she knows where you work and all that and where everything is" he says. "Okay I get into my head a lot and Ava is use to it" I say.
"That's okay anyways tell me about yourself" he says “I’m 18 I live here and I got a job at a cafe and we’re on our way to the place so I can make sure I’m not on shift I don’t have a vehicle and my favorite color is black and red and I love reading and listening to music it’s my way of de- stressing Ava is truly my only friend and that’s about it” I mumble fidgeting with my headphones. “My favorite color is blue and I have my truck I live in our home town and I’m 19 I work as a welder and I have my own house which is a fairy house someone made that I live in” he says.
“Grace we’re here do you want me to go in with you so they don’t try to guilt trip you into working” Ava says “no I got it I shouldn’t be long but if I am can you come grab me” I say hopping out of the truck and I have my phone and I shut the door and I head into the cafe. Where I work the building is small but inside it’s medium size, I head into the store and bee line it to the back and see if the schedule is their and it is and I take a picture of it with my phone and then bee line it back to the truck and I open the door to go but my favorite co-worker Leo stops me “Gracie you looked at the schedule didn’t you can you send me it I live in a bit and don’t wanna go to the office and look for it” Leo asks me “yes I will Leo have a good day” he yells back you too and I head out and get into the truck.
“I got my schedule I don’t have to work today but I gotta work tomorrow I also gotta send Leo the schedule” I say to Ava and she hums in response and I go and send it Leo I look through and see if me and Leo will work together and we have the same shift all this week I smile and look out the window.
