Flashes
The sound of the second bullet totally escaped him. The first one did not do any good either. In fact it made his best memories flash before him. Best memories according to him that is.
The crashing on the waves made him found it comforting. The heat of that licks his skin was different yet it was just as comforting. It was his first time in Asia. Japan to be more specific.
There were thousands of cities that Nidge could have picked for him to do the job. Japan, of all places. A strange town in Japan in fact. A town where they do not even seem too Japanese at all. Though it amazes him the Nidge even knew a human out of Dublin.
"Darren." The meekly voice spoke to him. "Azusa would give you all that you need for the job." He said quickly. He nodded in agreement. He agreed that as long as he could keep Mary safe and as long as he could get rid of Tommy.
Oh Tommy. Tommy that little rat. He would never forgive him for the mistake he did that took the life of his brother way too early. For all he knew, Tommy might have been behind the killing. In his mind, Tommy did kill him.
Yet today was his day too. Today at the land called Onjuku was where he pulled the trigger on Tommy. Onjuku was where he met his fate too. His fate at the hand of a foreign law enforcer.
