“When a shooting star comes and falls, that means that the angel has visited our world” said mom as she carefully caressed my hair “one thing surprising about it is whenever the angel comes, all the people even from different worlds can see it” she grinned widely then stared at the silver moon, sparkling above us “sadly, all the people, even in the other world are too busy nowadays that they can’t even look at the sky” she sighed sadly, then gazed unto my brown orbs “but, only a few people can appreciate the beauty that the night sky has given to us, and those few people are the only ones that gets their most desired wishes come true”

I gaped in wonder as I looked at her “Woah! have you seen one mom?”

She nodded as dad approached the both of us “The both of us did, and it fulfilled our wishes” he grinned.

My eyes sparkled in amazement as I sat between mom and dad. “What did you wished for then?”

They both looked at me with soft eyes as mom pressed her lips unto my forehead “To have a wonderful family” she replied.

Dad rubbed my head as the three of us gazed at the sparkling moon and the delicate stars. “We hope you could be one of the few persons as well Mishika”

Mom and dad used to say...

I used to wonder if I would really be one of those people,

will the angel really find me?

would it help me?

Would it at least provide me the happiness I was longing?

As the shooting star passed by, I quickly shut my eyes, wishing for what I truly desired.

I wished for happiness...

and then you came along.

PARIS IN THE DARK

Hester: Very good, was short too the point , not lingering on the abuse, pity you didn’t let him step in earlier knowing the abuse was happening, but this is almost real for some women who have gone through it, just wish they could all have a princess at te end of thete tunnel

Ashley: I enjoyed the story. It was a short one so the fast pace fit. I think something should be put in to show a time jump between paragraphs like a "****" just to make it easier to follow when we skip to the next day week or month. Over all a good read.
