Synopsis
After a failed run in law school, Karen Winters has found a new home working with her old friend from college, Christopher Lashley, who works closely with Last Chance Defense as a private investigator. The firm takes up cold cases for defendants in prison who may have not gotten a fair shake in court the first time around.
Karen and her partners take up the case of one Lawrence Yarrow who was jailed for the theft of art from a local museum. He says he is innocent, despite having pled guilty at his trial.
All evidence says Lawrence is guilty. But what if the painting was never stolen in the first place? Come along with Karen and Christopher as they try and unravel what is what......
