Forest of Alzine

I ran as fast as my legs could carry me, even with my enhanced speed I could still feel my pursuers closing up on me.

The council of chiefs is made up of the twelve community leaders. Although there are so many thousands of communities, some are very small and their members almost extinct, so little communities like these are joined together as one making a total number of all the communities twelve.

It is against the laws created by the council of chiefs ------ without consulting with the people --- to leave your community and go exile, anyone who does this would be captured, stripped of their powers, tortured, and killed by the hunters.

My friends and I have been searching for the so-called Forest of Alzine. where it is said that other exiles like us who didn't want to be part of our corrupted society, who wanted to live in peace without the drama of politics and superiority of one clan over another went to.

It is said that the forest is enchanted and it is named after the first man to move there The hunters supported by the council of chiefs have been searching for this forest for as long as I have been alive and they had no information whatsoever on it.

When we dispersed, the plan was for Jack and mee to distract the hunters while the others found us a new hiding place. " Ashley, do you hear me", I gave him a thumbs up to imply that I had gotten the information he passed along.

"Now Ashley ", Jack screamed as I almost missed the turning. I took a sharp turn and the pain in y back exploded in a million directions. " You okay", Jack asked as I leaned on him for support. "Yeah, I'm fine just feeling a little dizzy". "Can you walk or should I carry you ", he asked worry lacing his voice. " I'm fine Jack, I will ask Malory to take a look at the injury once we get to our new hideout, I know you probably would still do despite whatever I say but please don't worry about me ". " You are my friend Ashley and I want you to be safe". " I know ", I replied smiling at him.

" We should move before they catch up, the others are probably starting to think we have been caught or something". " Sure, if you feel weak or you need any help at all, don't be shy to ask, okay ". " Okay", I promised.
