It's Alright

Everyone says it’s alright to be yourself.

But what if being ‘yourself’ isn’t quite normal at all?

Once she told me she loved me then

She came into my room every night I

pleaded with her to stop but,

with my arms twisted back she rode me

into the silence of the night… A single tear traced her porcelain face,

Her hands, her hands, frail but never weak

She told me she loved me

She told me to stay

She told me she didn’t mean it but

The bruises and blights still remain clear as day

On my skin, so discolored, so battered

Gasp, they go, who did this to you?

I stare at them with empty eyes willing

The pain to fade away as from afar

She looked at me,

Pleading eyes, threatening eyes, loving eyes

I told them,

But of course, they knew.

One can only be so foolish

Willingly so.

She smiled sweetly so like an

Angel

But angels are not all holy and

As tight as I think I’ve got my heart around her

I figured she has bound me to an eternity

But why are they looking at me like so?
