Just before she had got taken to the hospital she had told me “You’ll be ok my Miracle.” It’s like she knew she was going to die on the surgery table. The doctors told me that they had done all they can. That’s kinda hard to believe when your 6 years old. After that my dad decided that we should leave california and move to cold New york to be closer to my grandparents.

Than when I was 10 my dad died in a bank robbery trying to save a pregnant lady named Sandy. So I had to live with my grandma and my grandpa. Well that was until my grandpa Gary died from a heart attack when she was 13. So after that it was just me and grandma Sue in her big house.

Right before I turned 17 grandma Sue said she couldn’t take care because of her old age. So grandma sent me to live with my mom’s sister Isabella. I hadn't seen Auntie Bella since my mom's funeral when I was 6. Aunt Bella had decided to live in Seattle after she finished college. She is now 32 years old and works as a pediatric surgeon. I remember her as crazy fun Auntie Bella, but at the funeral she could barely look at me and after that she would never write back to the letters I would send her. She would always write back when I sent them when I was younger. So she must hate me righ-"

"Look kid, all I did was ask if this seat was open. I sorry your ife sucked, but please don't talk to me about it I have more important thing to worry about!"

"Sorry..." Madi looked back down at her notebook and looked back on all the little short stories she had wrote down over the last 2 years.
