Chapter 1
Samantha was human and lived near werewolf territories all her life but didn't know it, she woke up the morning of her 18th birthday she lived in a small village and was looking forward to going to college to become a doctor.
Ainsley she smiled as she woke up that morning knowing her daughter Samantha was moving out on her own today she had bought her a house a month ago and furnished it she had 5 kids, Samantha, Caleb, Lela, Rose, and Ivy Samantha was her oldest and Ivy was the baby of the family she smiled when she was making breakfast as Lela and Rose were tending their garden though she was worried about Samantha as she had heard about girls going missing in the big village where she was moving too to attend school more school but she didn't want to worry her daughter so she didn't say anything.
Samantha had all her things sent to the new place but a small suitcase full of some of her clothes she went down to breakfast she smiled seeing her mother cooking. "Good morning mama." she said.
Ainsley smiled as she heard her daughter she turned around for a minute and waved at her. "Good morning sweetie I can't believe my babies moving out today I will miss you." she said calling the other children but Ivy who was just a baby to the table to eat breakfast.
Samantha smiled as she hugged her mother helping her put the food on the table like she always did she saw a couple of presents on the table in her area from her mother and siblings. "I will miss you too but I will visit as much as I can." She said sitting with her family to eat.
Ainsley smiled as she watched her children while she ate. "The cab will be here in an hour to take you to your new house." She said but there are 2 presents on the table for you from us." She said.
Samantha soon finished as Caleb and Lela removed the dishes from their table and started doing the dishes in their sink Samantha took the first present and opened it, it was a locket with a picture of everyone and a set of keys to the house she was going to be living in the other present was a key chain of a wolf with blue eyes. "Thank you everyone I love it." She said.
Ainsley smiled. "I can't believe my first baby is leaving the nest already." She said her husband died a year ago from a fever that took out most of the village men and women alike died but it left the children alone that's how she got Ivy she took her in after her sister and her husband died but her sister asked her to take her child before she died Ivy had only been a month old and she was happy to take her in.
Samantha hugged everyone as the cab arrived to take her to her new place she smiled a sad smile as she got her suitcase in the trunk then got in the back seat and rode to the new village.
