"Many survivors would find this triggering, and I guess it is a little, but in the same breath, the author captures the emotions that are hard to put into words. Survivor stories, even fictional ones, are a reminder that through all we face, we won. We live, we heal, and our life goes on. We get better and there is hope, no one can take that from us. "

"I loved this story! I was so cute and wholesome. The author does a fantastic job navigating tough topics such as abuse without spotlighting it. There were a couple of small inconsistencies in the plot line, mostly regarding the timeline, but otherwise, it was easy to follow! All in all, I will definitely be reading more of this author's books! "
