Chapter 1: The Castle
I left the King of Rogues island went to the castle with my grandparents. My grandparents were excited for me to come and stay in the castle. I had been here for two weeks and thought it beautiful. I was treated with respect but I think it is because I will oneday be their queen. My wolf wanted to run but we cannot change.
I had thought I had another mate and he is somewhere in the castle. I would catch a slight scent of coffee and chocolate. I don’t want another mate. I don’t want to be hurt again. I have a bad feeling that he hates me and will reject me. I was talking to grandma and her best friend Lilla. She is nice. I got up and walked down to the water and walked in to my knees. I held my dress up so it did not get wet.
