"Daddy, I had a bad dream."
"What was it about? Do you want to talk about it?"
The little girl shook her head. "I can't."
"Why not?"
She wrapped her arms around her father and shivered. "It was about mommy."
"What happened?"
"She's alive daddy."
He shook his head. "She's in heaven now."
"No daddy. She's next to me right now."
Her father squinted and noticed in the dim light a small crease on the blanket and the sound of a faint breath.
