Chapter 1

Destiny is a challenging term to understand, you could find it by going to a place or meeting somebody, but if you don’t go to that particular place or meet a particular person then you’ll truly never come to terms with what destiny is. Now personally I don’t have any information in the matter, I’ve never even understood it properly, but some of us can never truly understand what something is, until you experience it for the first time--

“Sophia? Sophia? Snap out of it, have your dinner?” Her elbow slid on the kitchen table, making her eyes bulge wide-open, “Yes?” She replied with a perplexed look that darted onto her face, “Were you even listening to me?” “Of course,” She promptly responded back, “We are sisters, are we not, my exceptional, big sis?” With a moved look forming on Lyssa’s face, she grinned and generously said, “Just have your dinner.” Not realising that flattery can get Sophia anywhere, while Sophia continued fantasising about how it’s never certain to predict life--

“BANG! BANG! BANG!” All of a sudden Sophia lost her trail of thought, with a ridiculously loud banging noise appearing from the front door. Her sister jumped in her seat, slipped and fell on the floor, Sophia worryingly whispered, “Oh my goodness, Lyssa are you alright?” Aching in absolute pain Lyssa grabbed a kitchen cloth and bit into it, with her teeth clenching trying not to make a single sound, her eyes scrunched while her eyebrows were pointing towards the door. With Sophia realising that there was no chance at all of Lyssa making it to the door, she decided to take things into her own hands. She bellowed, “Come in, the door is open!” She grabbed a kitchen knife, creped over the wall, took a deep breath, closed her eyes, twisted her body and swung the knife in every which way she wished, and as one eye peaked open the only thing for her to say was, “Dad?”
