First Day
Hello! gentle readers, it has been four years since I started writing this little, enchanting story and one can imagine what all changes in four years: not a lot but still a lot. I remember the place this story took birth, it was a cool summer night, the wind was tangling my hair, yet it was soothing, and somebody was out for a walk in the neighborhood. the stars were telling their own stories, the houses had the warmth of a lovely society , the trees were telling their own saga . every innate thing was talking louder than ever ;everything was telling their stories and so was I. As I was passing by the streetlights , the lovely yellow flowers on a tree which shone brighter than sun in mere streetlight, there were a million shades of yellow, ranging from mustard to neon, and looking at them dangling and dancing got me thinking and here we are 4 years later with that unfinished work of art.

" Mommy , look there she is , being all okay ruining my first impression and first day ..", said Cindy while looking sad .
It was the first day of high school semester . The students from Cindy's batch were to submit the baked cakes .
Mrs. Adams replied , "Calm down Cindy , I will personally explain the situation to your homeroom teacher - Ms. Warren "
She continued , " But I myself saw Stella keeping your cake in the refrigerator ".
Stella looked confused and so broke off her mother in between and asked what happened.
Mother explained the situation saying ," the cake was left out last night and so it is ruined and Cindy has no cake to submit now but don't you worry , we shall figure out something ."
Stella said in a hurry ," if that's the case , I shall bake the cake with help of Cindy in half an hour and there is an hour for the school to start . Mother you help us with coaxing Ms. Warren . So what do you say Cindy let's start ?"
Cindy sorrowfully nodes and accompanies her little sister to the kitchen.
She was happy inside for she saw how well her sister handled the situation but was trying to look pitiful .
Half anhour passed and the cake was ready and was fresh and the fragrance it had was mind-blowing . Anyone could lure towards it .
Brain came in the kitchen lured by the fragrance and complemented the cake ..
Mrs. Adams shouted ," everyone... there is only 14 minutes left for school ..get in the car this second."
Cindy , Stella and Brain left for school with mother . Reaching there mother explained the situation to ms. Warren and everything was now at peace . Mrs.Adams left for her work but she pondered much over the event that took place and was trying to figure out why Cindy did that act ...
