Tabidaque
"Let me start off by saying, that I loved Tabidaque's plot to bits. I adored how much detail was given to side characters and world building. In my opinion the writing style greatly conveyed the atmosphere of both lands. Furthermore Mara was a really interesting antagonist, if I could call her that, and I loved Luirlan, his inner struggles, turmoils, how Chiqu and Mara dragged his inner conflicts out. Luirlan's cold facade stuck to me and how he dealt with other people, also the havoc he left in the finale. His morally grey character felt fresh to me in a way. Talking about characters I loved Chiqu's arc and the importance of Espiran, that was brought forth near the end, handing another layer to the book. Mehild's and Sarofa's bond was kinda cute. There were some grammatical issues in here, a few commas in wrong places and the writing style - even though I did adore it's sharp, suspensful pace - I think there were a couple of rushed scenes near the end, muffling their importance. I'm mostly thinking about the part where Luirlan was with Chiqu in her hideout, and that they had spent a few days there both lost in their heads etc, then Chiqu presented poison to him... Also I think we barely saw the notebook, that Luirlan carried around, before its relevance. Forgive me if these description sounds odd, I read this novel a week ago. Anyway, this book left me with a lot of feelings, I'm grateful for that. Thank you, author! "
