"I enjoyed the pacing of this book. You always kept me on my toes. Carla had some problems smiling in the first chapter, but you glossed over that to focus on her budding relationship with Ridian. Then her issue was explained when we witnessed her mom beating her. Yet you went right back to relationship problems. Continuing to develop Carla's relationships and her norms with us, so when the last bombshell happened, us the audience, was able to see the hinted despair at the beginning come around full circle and how her friends would react. That was key. There's so much about this book that I would like to eay, but can't type out. But I will say this: Great job, keep up the good work, and all the haters can go fuck themselves."

"Great story, however there were some issues with the chapters and some grammar or poor choices of words. It would be better if it was revised before being posted.. and whatever happened to the mother? And how did the relationship with her and peter became what it is.. need more details"

"I do absolutely love this book. But there are a few things that need to be fixed. Chapters 5 & 6 are the same exact chapter and this also happened with chapters 23 & 24 if I'm not mistaken. There's a few grammar errors and one thing I don't quite get is how she goes from being with Ridian to the epilogue being with peter. I'm confused on how that transpired. Yes it's 20 years later but you should give the readers a little incite on how this came to be unless it was just a mistake. But overall the books was really good it had me turning the pages not wanting to put the books down a long with crying! "

"Amazing book ... the most beautiful part is the kind of relationship Carla has with Peter. However, the epilogue was the one that surprised me the Most....Carla getting married to Peter....when in the book her relationship is mostly discussed with Ridian. Was a bit confusing thus. Lovable book that will surely make you cry and want for the heart binding relaions Carla has got with her school friends."

"If you have ever been in an abusive relationship, or have had a poor self image at any point in your life, this book will speak directly to your heart! It is well written, gusty and a terrific read. And yes, there maybe a few repetitions and grammatical errors, but that can be fixed at publishing. What is outstanding here, is the passion the writer has for her characters. And her passion for writing comes across as well. So as in aspiring writer myself, knowing the challenges first hand, I do commend this author for a job well done and for the bravery shown on getting this far. And I must say, that while I will like to know just how Carla and Peter came to be, the epilogue was quite a delight. It left alot to be imagined and boy did my imagination run while. I liked it. And I did start reviewing the storyline in my mind. I'm the end, it was indeed Peter who turned beastly and beat Danny. And it was Peter who sat with her. So life happened and she and Peter ended up together. Seems to me that with an ending like that, you are leaving room for yet another amazing story! Best of luck!"
