Brandon

I drive down the street with all the kids in the back. We are headed to the birthday party of one of the kid's cousins. He's turning 5 today from what I've heard. Thank gosh there will be kids there all of their ages. I had to leave Lexi at home with the baby sister since she's only one year old now.

"Are we there yet daddy?" my second oldest son Blake asks. "Not yet blake. We're almost there." He sits back in his car seat and looks at what my oldest son Daylan is watching. Layla insisted that we have Daylan watch kindergarten videos when he's not in school.

Having kids is more stressful than I thought. Blake and my oldest daughter Brielle like to argue over snacks and toys a lot. They both have a stubborn attitude. Daylan acts more mature for his age always trying to get his little siblings to get along. Lexi is a big cry baby. She cries if she gets woken up if she doesn't get what she wants, and if no one is paying attention to her even for a second.

I love all my kids though and would fall in love with their mom and have them all over again. "Daddy cup," Brielle says. She's not that good at talking but it's adorable when she does. I can't wait till my little girls get a little older so I can buy them scooters with glitter and pom-poms on them. Then teach them how to ride them.

My phone rings and I pick it up. "Hey, baby." I smile. "Hey," she says breathily. "Oh, are you at my parent's place yet?" she asks "No. We're about 10 minutes away."

"T-T-Tell mommy I said hi." Blake jumps excitedly "Oh oh me to me too." Daylan also jumps excitedly. I laugh. "The kids are excitedly saying hi even though they just saw you an hour ago." she laughs on the other end. "Give them kisses for me," I tell them she sends kisses then focuses on the road.

"How late will you be coming home?" I ask. "I'll be home late. I have two dog surgeries and then an exotic animal surgery." she sighs "My lion surgeries always take longer because I'm still in training." she hums.

"It's fine. I'll have dinner ready and you can wake me up if you need a massage." I suggest. "I hate waking you up. You have more work than I do." she groans. "Yeah but I get off earlier with more time to sleep. Don't worry baby I usually stay up all night with you." I wink even though I know she can't see me.

"Yes definitely won't be forgetting that intense orgasm you gave me this morning. I may have to take my wedding ring off this time so it doesn't get stuck in your hair again," she whispers. "Yeah, that crap hurt." I hold back my language since my kids are in the car.

"Ooh, daddy said Crap." Daylan points at me in disbelief. "Remember buddy. Adults can say bad words but kids can't." Daylan pouts "Not fair." I smile at him. He'll understand one day.

"Shit I've gotta go. Love you hubby." she giggles "Love you too baby." I hang up the phone as I pull up to her parent's driveway.

"Y-Yay were here w-where here." Blake cheers. I take off my seatbelt as my mother and Laylas mother walk out of the house. I get out of the car and my mother hugs me right while Layla's mother gets the kids.

"Ugh honey it's been so long." my mother says "Yeah. A week is so long mom." I huff.

I don't see my mom much since she's always out of town with my dad. She just flew back here last week and is staying for a month. We visit Layla's mom almost every weekend. Most of those times are when we need some alone time to go on dates. I may be old but I still spoil my wife.

The sex gets better and better each year. We usually don't have time with our jobs so I make the most of our weekends. "Where is Lexi?" my mom asks. Blake and Daylan run around the car and hug their grandma. "Hi grandma." they both smiled up at her.

"I left her at home since it's a big kid's party." my mother nods. Layla's mom walks around the car holding Brielle's hand. She hugs me. "Hello, my son in law." she smiles "Hey mom." I return the smile.

We all walk into the backyard and there are 4 bouncy houses with children everywhere. My 3 kids run to go play with the other ones. "Be careful kids," I yell out to them. They wave at me with a smile.

"They are growing so fast. I remember when Daylan was just born. He was a cute baby." my mother gushes. "I'm going to hate when my little boys are chasing after girls." I sigh rubbing my forehead. I have to tell them not to make the mistakes I did. I hate all of my exes.

"Oh don't worry. I'll make sure none of their exes are crazy like yours." she laughs. Layla's mom brings out the food and all the adults her start eating. I feel weird here without Layla. This is her family and my first time coming to something with this many of her family.

Her mother introduces me to one of her aunties and their kids. I get to know more people. I only know one of her cousins here because they have been around a lot. They tell me stories about Laya. I'm not surprised since I've known her all my life.

I laugh and eat until I hear a kid scream and cry! It sounds like Daylan. I and a few other parents run over to the bouncy house. I see Daylan crying while holding his arm. Fuck!

I get into the bouncy house and carry him out carefully. "You okay buddy? What happened." I ask. Of course, he's not okay.

"My arm hurts really bad dad. I think it's broken." he sobs. I need to take him to the hospital. My mom comes up to me. "Hurry and get him there. I'll bring the other two." I nod and quickly run to the car. I buckle him in and my mother has the other two. She gets them in quickly.

"Why is brother cry?" Brielle asks. "He hurt his arm Bri." My mother gets into the front seat and I pull off after saying goodbye to Layla's mom. It was about time for us to go anyway. It's 7 pm now. I should have kept an eye on Daylan. It's dark in there and he probably couldn't see.

"Hold on Daylan. I'm driving as fast as I can." I reassure "I-It hurts so bad. I can't move it. Dad makes the pain stop." I furrow my brows. I hate hearing him in pain. "The doctor will make the pain go away. Be careful next time." my mother adds. I give her a weary smile.

I don't want to bother Layla but she needs to know. I pull out my phone and dial her number. She picks up. "What's up baby...why is Daylan screaming?" she asks "H-He broke his arm." I let out. "WHAT!" she yells then lowers her voice.

"How in the hell did that happen?" she whispers "Shit baby I'm in surgery. I can't get out of the clinic....dammit." her voice gets wobbly.

We have never had to deal with this before. I don't know how to calm her down. "I'm going to take him to the hospital. Take a breath. We love you. He will be okay." I sooth.

"Okay. Call me as soon as you get there," she says nervously. "Okay bye," she says love you before I hang up. I look at my mom and she squeezes my hand.

I'm sure he will be alright...
