Five years ago
near a table round and flat.
Five friends, sat together
only love within their hearts
Sharing coffee, laughs and chatter,
Smiling as their mugs would clatter.
The time was right, they found it fitting,
To depart adventures wishing.
To the ends of earth, they travel.
seeking knowledge, finding love
If you search you ’ll be rewarded
Challenges and fame or fun.
Those adventures today,
In a dream, few minutes past.
All, together, had a meeting,
Speaking tales of life and lust.
Then the stories worth the telling,
Came to end, and silence fell.
And the cups they had been holding,
Froze to tell me, it’s the end.
Then, I rose and smiled and spoke,
That, again, the time has come,
The gathering, is now concluded
As the world, awaits, for us.
With smiles, hope and emotions,
The adventurers grew wings.
Craving magic, wanting knowledge,
Or a warm protecting kiss.
