LOVED IT
"Loved Pax’s character. He is really what made the story so special to me. As a reader, I care a lot about the setting. The futuristic theme works so well in a world we are still familiar with. No robots, flying cars, green aliens,or galactic-looking cities...just a unique, new idea presented in this book. I was very pleased with the ending. It ended up being a happy one, but even more intriguing is that it was left open-ended. It was nice to see Pax become vulnerable like that at the final stages....where he needed to be the one to be saved. It was refreshing. I have a feeling I am going to love how all these stories tie in together in the sequels. I enjoyed how we had access to first person perspective from both Olivia and Pax throughout the story. I am not sure it would have turned out as great as it did if we didn’t have that writing style. The only thing that broke my suspension of belief was Liv’s character. I think knowing her age set the tone for me at the beginning. Before I knew she was only 18, my imagination was putting her at 23 ish. I am not sure if we ever knew Pax’s age, but I just felt he was out of her league at times. Age aside, I think I tend to like the woman in my stories to be more independent. Liv was independent in her own right, but ultimately I felt she was still emotional and immature( some of the decisions she made). Perhaps it only stands out because there was such a contrast compared to Pax. Altogether, great book!! This author is going places and I can’t wait for more to come."

"I loved everything about this story. The love had time to develop and it was so exciting to see both of them grow into themselves and into the relationship, descovering what they are feeling and why they are feeling it. I read the story almost in one go, because I couldn't lay my phone down. Although there were a few moments when I was so pulled in by the story and what the characters where feeling that I wanted to look away. I also laughed at times. And I smiled basically the whole way through. Their love is honest and wasn't portrayed as over the top. It is usually hard to read a story about a kidnapper and the kidnapped person and not find something so deeply unsettling that you don't want to continue reading or the erotic/sexual part is just very unrealistic and not at all what someone in that situation would feel and want, but with this story it was absolutely perfect. The second book on Inkitt I truly finished (although I have been here for a few years and started many I spend most of my time on Wattpad.) :) Thanks for making me smile"
