Knock at the Door
**It is best if you have watched Grey's Anatomy so you understand what my fanfict is about.
Meredith had that dream over and over again. Derek knocks on the door, says he forgot his keys and apologizes for being gone so long. She never thought she would see him again. Meredith was put on a ventilator over 3 weeks ago due to Covid-19. She had been off the ventilator for about 5 days. Her health was improving tremendously. Meredith still wasn't able to go home and spend time with her kids. She knew she wanted to break things off with Deluca fully but didn't want to hurt him since he had previously been diagnosed with Bipolar disorder.
She finally gained the courage to tell him they were over. He had a sad look in his eyes, but Mer knew she did the right thing. Richard came in shortly after to discuss what they were going to proceed with for her treatment. She decided she wanted to be part of the covid trial.
