Chapter 1: A Familiar Beginning
Have you ever imagined what it would look like if you’re in a boxing match with another tough challenger in Little Rock, Arkansas? In the ring, in front of the whole crowd? Well, let me tell you all this. There was a tough boxer who is known by the name of Dmarius “King D-Young'' Ward. In a boxing match, scheduled for 12 rounds in a nonstop action, he's boxing in the ring against Rodney “Young Hoodie” Davis in the gloves. It was a minute and thirty seconds left in Round 10… and both fighters had thrown more power punches at each other… Next thing I know, they only got 25 seconds left in Round 10… And both Dmarius and Rodney were shaking and one of them is about to finish it off. Dmarius throws a right uppercut to the chin, and down goes Rodney. Then, Rodney gets up from a knock down and tells the referee that he will continue the fight, right before time runs out. Now, Round 11 has started and Dmarius has started throwing a jab, but Rodney slips away and counterpunches him with a right hook to the jaw, Dmarius gets stunned by a right hook and Rodney throws the power punches straight to the face and Dmarius goes down. However, he got back up and did the same thing… And that means throwing power punch combinations, but Rodney didn’t go down. So he throws a right hook, but Dmarius guards the swings with his punches. Suddenly, Rodney throws an uppercut and breaks his guard and tries to knock him down again with a left hook, but he can’t because Round 11 is over, as the bell has rung. They both went to their neutral corners and one of Rodney’s coaches gives him a brand new strategy to help him win the fight, and tells Rodney to finish Dmarius off. The only way for Dmarius to do so is to keep fighting and never give up. Moments later, the bell rang and they began the 12th and final round. Rodney throws them body shots as Dmarius throws the face shots. Then, they’re both hurt, and one of them has to throw the last four punches. Then, Dmarius throws the first three punch combos to the face… Right hook, left hook, right hook. That’s when Rodney’s body starts to wobble. Dmarius throws the SUPER KING UPPERCUT to the chin powerfully hard… Rodney slanted his body forward as Dmarius threw the SUPER KING UPPERCUT one more time. Rodney said, “OOOOOOOOFFFFF!!!!” and down goes Rodney.
The referee asked Dmarius to go to his neutral corner and then start the 10-count. Then suddenly, when the referee reached 10, Rodney had stayed down for the KO, and that’s when the boxing match was over, because Damrius won the fight by a knockout. The ESPN reporter came to Dmarius to congratulate him on winning the fight. As the interview continues, the reporter asks Dmarius “If you could challenge anybody, who will your next opponent be, where will your next fight going to take place, and when, at what time?”
