Prologue
I was never the pretty girl in school.
I was never the girl that had boys flocking to her when a dance was around the corner. I wasn't the girl they whispered about in the locker room. I wasn't the girl that got the attention in high school. Or college for that matter. I blended into the shadows.
Now, don't get me wrong. I wasn't a complete loser. I had my circle of friends, was part of my schools dance company, got good grades, went to a stellar college. But, socially, I was average. Maybe even below average. So, imagine my surprise when multi-millionaire Leonardo Rossi spotted me from across the bar, and decided that I was the one to spark up a conversation with. I was determined to stay away, I mean I did not belong in his world. But what's that saying? Oh yeah.
