You live in an apartment complex. Although it is in a bad part of town, it’s cheap rent and lack of noisy neighbors brought you over. The only neighbors you have are a floor below you, but the owner said that you will be getting a next door neighbor soon. She moved in on a cold tuesday afternoon and spent the next day unpacking. On Saturday you decide to introduce yourself. *Knock knock knock*, you knock on the door shyly, the door opens and a young woman steps out. “Hello, are you my new neighbor?” she said curiously, “o-oh, yeah, I just wanted to introduce myself.” you replied. “Ah, well I am Louve. And yours?” she said with a sweet smile.

You both talk and after a bit you go back to your apartment, she told you that you could come over any time, “I might as well get to know someone in this town!”.

Over the next two weeks you hear a lot of noise coming from her apartment, when you asked her about it she told you that it was just that she noticed a few of the walls looked a bit damaged, she was fixing it up the best she could. You had figured that it was something like that, this was a pretty garbage apartment complex. Though once you finish college and get a good job, you’ll be out of this dump.

About a month later, someone knocks on your door. You open it to find a young woman you have never seen before. “Oh! Sorry, This isn’t the right door….” The woman says embarrassed, “no, no, it’s ok, where are you supposed to be going? I can point you in the right way, I think.” you say back to her. “Well, I’m supposed to be going over to my friend’s apartment. I think she said it was room 201.” “oh, you mean Louve? She’s my neighbor, it’s the one to the right of mine.” you point to your right. “Thank you!”.

A week passes, and you decide to check the news. You flip to the news and find that the girl from before is now missing, her last seen location being outside of your apartment complex. The police have found no traces of where or when she was taken yet, the person suspected of the crime was a man on the first floor of the complex. Though he keeps on saying he is innocent and had nothing to do with the situation, saying he hasn’t ever even seen her.

3 days later, Louve invites you over for dinner, and you accept. *Knock knock knock* you knock at her door, and she opens it seconds later. “Oh, wow! You came!” she responded with excitement as she saw you at the door. “Uh, you’re offering me free food, how could I not come?” you said jokingly back to her, Louve giggled a little. “Well, I just needed an excuse to talk to someone after, you know.” “Oh, yeah. Well don’t worry about it, I’m sure the police will find her soon!” you told her, trying to reassure her, though you were most likely failing. She smiled cutely back at you, “don’t worry about me. Come on inside, let’s chat!” she replied cheerfully. You followed her inside.

You looked around her apartment, pretty normal, you guess. You both sit down on the couch and talk for awhile, she then got up and went toward the kitchen. “Guess it’s time for dinner now, you want soup?” she told you “yeah, sure. You’re the one cooking.” you said back. She then disappeared into the kitchen.

You looked around the room, and noticed a strange door. The thing that was strange about it was that it had 3 bolt locks on the door along with a normal door lock, so you get up to investigate. You walked up to the door and tried to open it. Nope, locked. Then you saw a hole drilled into the door, making an unprofessionally made peephole. You looked through it, but it was so dark in the room that all you could see was a table and the slight shine of, perhaps, a bucket under it.

“Hey, so the food is going to take a bit to cook, do you wanna drink?” you heard Louve say behind you. Quickly, you turn around and reply: “sure, I’ll get myself some water.” “it’s okay, I can get it for you, I’m going back into the kitchen anyway and you don’t know where it is.” she told you, “um, ok.”.

About a minute later she came back with a cup of water and a soda and handed you the water. “Thanks,” you say right before taking a big sip of water, but then, you start to feel a bit dizzy…..

Some time later, you don’t know when, you wake up in a room. The room is covered from the walls to the floor in blankets and other soft material. You try to get up to see more of the room, but, you can’t. You look down at your wrists and see them strapped down, some goes for your ankles. To put it simply, you can’t move.

You frantically look around the room now, looking for some sort of explanation of what is happening. Then you see Louve, standing over you with a gleeful expression on her face. She was holding a scalpel in her hand. “Lookie what we have here, you finally woke up!” she says excitedly, “let’s see, where should I start…” Louve said calmly.

“How abouuut, here.” she then used the scalpel to cut open your stomach, wide. She placed down the scalpel somewhere else on the table and took out a pair of tweezers, using them to delicately take out your small intestines.

All while this was happening, you were filling the room with shrill screams. You were screaming as loud as your vocal chords allowed you to. Though she paid no mind to your screams and your cries and begging, she just continued. Louve was using the scalpel and tweezers to take out the rest of your organs. Your large intestine, liver, stomach, lungs, kidneys, and heart. All of these were put into the bucket below, along with a lot of your blood.

Soon, your screaming quieted down a bit. A bit later on, you stopped making noise at all, same went for any movement you were making previously. You went completely limp and your eyes became glazed over with the fog that comes over when someone takes their last breath.

You are dead.

Louve then took the organ and blood-filled bucket and went over to the kitchen to start cooking, leaving your corpse where it was to be dealt with later. In the kitchen, she was making a meaty stew. She placed the final ingredients inside the pot and stirred it all in. Once it was done, she got herself a bowl of it. As she sat at the table, she saw she accidentally got the best bite in the whole stew, your heart.

The End
