Yule Ball
You and Draco decided to walk to Potions class together. You both take your seats and listen to Professor Snape ramble on about a Shrinking Solution. After some time, Draco passes you a note, which says, “Yule Ball?” You feel your cheeks turn red and and nod a yes to him. Draco then smiles and winks at you.0
𝐀 𝐅𝐄𝐖 𝐃𝐀𝐘𝐒 𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐑
You tell your closest friend, Cedric Diggory, about how Draco asked you to the ball. Cedric has agreed to help you pick out a dress.
“How about that one?” He suggests.
“It looks perfect!” You say.
You go to try on the exquisite green dress and step out of the dressing room once you’re finished.
“How do I look?” You ask.
“Beautiful,” Cedric says.
You pay for the dress and a pair of earrings, I can do this, you thought to yourself, a little nervous about the dance.
𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐘𝐔𝐋𝐄 𝐁𝐀𝐋𝐋
You put on your dress and earrings, then make your way to the Great Hall, which was decorated for the Yule Ball. You look to see Draco standing at the bottom of the staircase outside of the Great Hall entrance, wearing a black suit, looking handsome as ever. You walk down the steps to him and loop your arm through his.
“You look magnificently beautiful Y/N,” Draco says.
“Thank you. You also look amazing,” You say.
You two walk into the Hall and wait for the 4 contenders of the Triwizard Tournament to finish dancing before you and Draco do. Once the others have danced, you two and other couples walk onto the floor. Draco puts one of his hands on your hip and the other in one of your hands, you put your free hand on his shoulder and begin doing the traditional Yule Ball Waltz. After about 15 minutes, you two decide to go back to the Slytherin Common Room and spend some time together. Once you make it there, you sit on the floor and gaze at the fire lit in the fireplace.
“I had fun tonight,” Draco says, breaking the silence.
“Me too. It was great,” you say, longingly gazing into his eyes.
Draco then leans towards you and kisses your lips. After what seems forever, he pulls back and smiles.
