Monologue

Peaches. Simple. Peachy coloration. Sweet in taste. Hard in season beginning. Soft. Whole. Imperfect.

People. Complex. Peachy coloration. Sweet in personality. Hardships within lifetime to challenge our emotional stability. Fragile when open. Half of a whole. Imperfect.

When you think about peaches, what comes to your mind? Is it the color of a blissful sunset? The taste that lingers while encapsulating taste buds? The hard outer layer when first picked? The entirety of a peach? Humans are like peaches. In different perspectives.

Humans that suffer from a disorder, a formidable foe that cannot be conquered alone. Why? Ask a peach. They come in all shapes, sizes, and colors. In terms of stability, they can always fall off the tree too early and be bitter. Depression. Major Depressive Disorder. Anxiety. Is a peach that fell off the tree before it was picked. Still perfectly good to consume, hard to swallow, hard to love, deserve the most.

This is my story.
