Prologue

Being the savior of the universe never began easy. Now that I'm looking death in the face, it doesn't get easier than this.

0

As the humming of my spacecraft, TYG34 brings me closer to the one Vulkuk I seek revenge from. I watch as the team of brave ally species in their own spacecrafts leads the way. Their job is to make sure I reach the enemy's mothership.

0

The radio transmission in my helmet has been going non-stop since my craft left the mothership, Terminus Apollon until now I've ignored it.

0

"Lilli, you can't do this. I don't want to exist without you." the sorrow in my mate's voice sent chills down my spine.

0

"Listen to Chivroith, my Love, we can't lose you. It will drive us to death. Don't be this selfish, please." my other mate says with mixed feelings of anger and sadness.

0

An explosion of red fury catches my eyes from the right, an allyship is blown to pieces. Another die because of this selfish war. An annoyed growl escapes my lips, I steer my ship up and around to avoid the debris.

0

"We are taking fire from the right, Princess. We should part ways now if we all want to make it out alive. But it's you call, Ma'am." yells a ninvarthian ally.

0

I close my eyes and take a deep steady breath. When I open my eyes I can see my reflection in the glass. My eyes have taken on their glowing blue haze, I could feel my fingers burning.

0

'This is it....' I think to myself.

0

"Sofia.....Haven." I try to control the shake in my voice. A warrior princess must never show weakness. Even on her way to death.

0

There is a slight pause until I hear the two earth weaklings, "Yes, Your Highness."

0

I've never liked these two women. They were my replacements. I had convicted myself that I hated them until this moment right now. They were annoying and weak, and they were shitty secondary mates for the loves of my life.

0

I had no say in the matter until now, "I need you two to take care of my warriors. Love them as much as I have. Care for them and give them children that I never could have given them. Swear on Æavera blood that you will!"

0

I never felt more loved when I heard my mates protests. Never once have I doubt their love for me. I felt it through the bond we shared. They were heartbroken. My big warriors were so sad. I could feel their love for me grow even more.

0

Through all the yelling and arguing, I heard the earthling women promise. That's all I needed.

0

"Warrior Nini'dash, it's been an honor to call you my best friend. You will forever be my warrior sister."

0

Said woman has been my best friend since we were little beasts. She has seen the worst in me. Fought by my side and kept me going when I feared the worst. I owe her my life.

0

Before she can reply I cut the transmission to Termisnus Apollon.

0

Now focused on the space ahead, the war rages on. War waits for no one. Four crafts remaining, they did well with getting me to this point. They are the real heroes. Not some random princess who was destined to die from the day she was born.

0

We continued to take fire from the right. Sending out a fury rocket, down goes two enemy crafts.

0

"Alright team. You got me here, go. Live and be happy because this war ends today. You've all made me so proud."

0

With the few 'thank you Princess' and 'it's been an honour Princess', they turned and left me to end this war.

0

The giant enemy ship was in clear view, all I needed to do is collide with it. My body will do the rest. The war will finally be over.

0

'You are a special Æaverian, Daughter. You are meant to be queen.' my mother's voice echos through my mind. It's bittersweet really.

0

With my craft speeding closer to the enemy ship, I am no longer Princess Lillibao Sepeha. The energy I possess in my body has taken over completely. I am a warrior of Æavera.

0

I will die for my planet.

0

I will die for my loved ones.

0

I will die for my mates.

0

I will die for the universe.

0

Two thousand feet from the enemy ship and an explosion goes off at my left. Turning my head ever so slightly, I see that my left engine has been hit.

0

'Well there's no going back now.' I comment in my thoughts.

0

Fire is blocking my view of the enemy crafts that are now chasing me. They are just a few seconds too late. TYG34 starts the count down from ten, I place my hands on the control columns.

1 COUNTDOWN COMPLETE

0

The picture of my mates smiling faces is the last thing on my mind when my craft collides with the enemy ship.

0

An eruption of flames comes first.

0

Then the bright cobalt energy wave that travels throughout the universe at a blinding speed. Cleansing the universe of evil, one by one Dark Souls fall.

0

The wave passes through leaving the Bright Souls standing and cheering. It's finally over, the war was won. No one has to live in fear again. After the smallest of celebration ends, remembrance of the Princess Lillibao Sepeha

0

The universe grows quiet, the only sound that can be heard is the echo of footsteps coming from the monitors around the universe. Every eye is on the screen hoping that the Princess didn't die, that somehow she was able to cheat death.

0

No such luck, they watch as the tall pale white Vulkuk walks from the shadows.

0

They just watched me die a very heroic death but was it really that heroic if the one being I was aiming to kill, never died.

0

Everyone watches as he stands there laughing viciously, holding the purple Ondri stone.

0

I failed. I died for nothing.
