Rising Author off to a Great Start
"The title wonderfully hints at the twists and turns to come. Like the title suggests, the first half of the book makes you feel comfortably aware of the world you've been reading about, but just like Cora finds out, that world really isn't what it seems. Wonderfully subtle hints around the corner of every page for the well-read and self-informed reader. A good read for deep-thinkers and casual readers alike. Definitely pick up a copy to get your hands on a piece of history. This fledgling writer has a bright future ahead of her, and it's gratifying to be able to say you were apart of that history from the start. I've got my copy. Now if only I could get it signed!"
Unexpected Twist!
"I have to say... I did not see that coming! The twist in this book (and oh boy, is there one), is great. The great thing about this book is once you read it the second time, you appreciate it even more. Knowing the reveal at the end adds to it. I loved the love triangle in this book and admired the protagonist's desire to know her own truth before choosing A or B. We need more stories like this!"
Great Read
"Sincerely enjoyed this book. I hope to see another novel from this writer. The characters are not only deep, but tangible. I felt like I could relate to the protagonist easily. The dark humor was very amusing."
