Chapter 1
Victor Hanover
Today was the day! I was finally going to find out when my coronation would be. Alpha Victor, had an amazing ring to it, and it was about the damn time that it came to me. I was practically running through the pack grounds to the Alpha house, my father had let me know that news from our group of elders had come in about my coronation.
In my rush to get home, I didn't notice her before I hit her. In a blur I slammed to the ground hard. "OUCH!" came loud out of the person beside me. I lifted my head up to see a girl around my age, she had brown hair and green eyes, she had a small frame and little muscle on her. she was so small. The girl lifted her head and made eye contact with me, I felt something stir in my chest but I brushed it off. "Would you watch were you are going. I know a lot of girls fall for me but you don't have to run in to me to get my attention."
The girl rolled her eyes and preceded to stand up, she brushed her close off and started to walk away. "Hey I'm talking to you here!" Everyone knew I was the next Alpha to turn your back to me was disrespectful. Ignoring me the girl continued on her way, she was lucky I had somewhere to be and didn't have time to chase her down. One more look in her direction and I took off towards Alpha house again.
As I approached the house, I could see my father standing on the porch, he turned to me and scowled. "What took you so long, it is not good to keep the counsel waiting."
"I'm sorry, I had an accident on the way here. Slowed me down a bit, but I'm here now. Lets go in." I turned to open the front door and make my way in, my father put his arm on my shoulder. "Come on pops, for someone who was getting impatient with me for being late. You are sure taking your time." I laughed and turned to him, his face was like he was sorry for me. "You already talked to them didn't you and by the look on your face it wasn't good news."
"I wouldn't call it bad news just something you weren't expecting. We should probably talk about this in my study." My father made his way into the house and I followed after him. He entered his study and sat behind his desk, My father motioned for me to sit. "The council wanted to tell you in person but since you were late they told me there was a verdict and then had to leave. The council has decided that your coronation will be in three months." I beamed that was amazing news, three more months and he would be Alpha. "But they had a catch, they wanted you to be mated and have a Luna to stand beside you when your crowned Alpha"
My face fell, I wasn't even seeing anyone and to find a mate in less then 3 months was impossible. "Why would they decide this, I'm not even seeing anyone."
"I understand son, but I had a solution to the problem. We could do an arranged mating to one of the packs females, and I had an idea of who you could choose. As you know or old beta retired. Well our new one has finally arrived and he has a daughter, a Beta's daughter will be a great choice for you. "
I look up at my father, his face showed promise that all will be well but I just couldn't see it. "I want to meet her as soon as possible then, the faster I can get to know her the fast we can be mated."
"I'll call her father now and set up a meeting, I'll let you know when a date to meet her is set." I nodded my head at my father and made my way up to my room. As I made my way down the upstairs hall my sister stuck her head out of her room. "Victor you're back how did the meeting go when is the coronation?"
She was beaming up at my, and I couldn't bring myself to smile at her. "Brianna, I don't feel like talking about it right now. I just need time to myself, I'll come tell you later. Okay?"
I pushed past her and into my room. I walked over and fell on my bed. A mate, I hadn't even consider looking for on yet. I wanted to get my life together first as Alpha and then look for her. But now I have no choice an arranged mating is the quickest way. Three months is not enough time to look for the normal way. I just hope this girl wants me and needs me as much as I need her.

I awoke the next morning to light pouring in through my window. I was meeting her this afternoon. My father had called me to let my know that my future mates father agreed to it and said I could meet her today.
I needed to make a good first impression.
I decided to get up and have a shower, I made the water nice and hot. I stripped out of my sweat pants and t-shirt and stepped in. The water felt great on my back, It almost felt like all the stress that today and the next three months were bringing to me were just rolling off my back and down the drain. Washing myself as quick as I could I got out and dried off. I put on a pair of dark slim jeans, a white t-shirt and my black jacket. I wanted to look my best for her, to show that I wanted this mating to go well and that I was putting my best foot forward.
