"Overall the storyline is great. Loved all the characters within. I almost gave up a couple of times as the story seemed to get bogged down with Aris's inner thoughts which certainly were substantiated but they were repeated in great length over too many chapters. I felt those chapters could have been balanced out with more POV's of the individual Kings' inner thoughts and maybe a little more interaction with Max once he was brought back into the story. I thoroughly enjoyed his character - he was the 'light' to the 'darkness'. These are MY thoughts on how I perceived the length of those particular chapters. So, despite that I continued to read as the story itself was intriguing and I wanted to see how Aris finally found contentment. The growth of the three Kings' characters was really strong and important to the book and was well executed. To reach the ending is well worth the read."

Characters that you love & hate & love again
"Riveting. Such dynamic, raw characters that truely develop and draw the reader in. Leading characters are underdogs (which I love) and are not perfect and you see that. Not just another werewolf/vampire generic love story — super refreshing and original. Plot is also clear and well thought out but there’s also enough spice to keep you turning pages. "
