||BACKSTORY||
Draco and Diana have been together since they were babies. Literal Newborns. Draco born in June, Diana was September, he was utterly mesmerised by Diana, a new friend.
Years go by and Draco and Diana don't go by two or three days without seeing one another. Mainly for their parents' work, but spend hours a day together.
They were sweet when they were younger, yet as they grew older Draco wasn't as benevolent as Diana.
Draco grew up knowing that mud-bloods were the dirtiest type of blood status. That they are disgusting abominations that shouldn't exist. Diana grew up the same way, yet she refrained from using such language until she joined Draco in their journey to Hogwarts.
Using the word mud-blood became a regular occurrence, due to the appearance of an annoying know-it-all girl. Hermione Granger. Harry Potter joined Hogwarts the same year as the pair. Which is the same year the two of them met Blaise Zabini and Pansy Parkinson.

Pansy and Blaise already knew each other, almost the same way as Draco and Diana did. Pansy and Diana became quite close, as well as Diana's friendship with Blaise. While Draco and Blaise took a little longer. They eventually eased up to one another though.
'Two became Four'

Year at Hogwarts flew by, constantly tormenting the golden trio was always a classic, but Quidditch became their favourite thing.
Draco and Diana joined Quidditch in our second year due to Lucius buying the Slytherin team Nimbus 2001's. Draco became seeker and Diana became a chaser and seeker when Draco got injured.
Diana was relatively gifted with the Quidditch genes from her Father. Though her Mother was brilliant at Quidditch, but the Captain at that time didn't allow her to play. Women weren't strong enough to play Quidditch, supposedly.
Blaise and Pansy joined the two in Quidditch in third year. Blaise joining as a chaser and Pansy as a beater. Slytherin team hasn't played better, ever. The defence was immaculate. Every other house barely got their own points unless it was the opposite seeker to catch the snitch.
Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff never caught the snitch against Draco. He was fast, but Gryffindor, Harry Potter, his arch nemesis always bettered him. Potentially 'chosen one luck'.

Pansy left the Quidditch team fifth year, due to the boredom. The beater who replaced her was Anderson. Diana never knew his name. Didn't seem important to her. Christmas holidays during their fifth year was chaotic.
Emotional. Overwhelming. Soul destroying. Draco and Diana were both given news that they would bare the dark mark come the summer before their sixth year.
Exams crowding their heads and the fear of the darkness they were going to obtain was...terrifying.
