kataoka mizuki sits on the ground with her knees pulled to her chest. she currently hides under the counter, fiddling with the hem of her black skirt. she is on the verge of tears as the memory of yesterdayβs horrifying incident comes rushing back.
she was never one with courage, but she felt proud of herself for making the bare minimum interaction.
βwhat the fuck happened to you yesterdayβ
kageyama tobio had little to no patience when it came to mizukiβs cowardly and clumsy nature. asking her right off the bat prevents him from enduring a total mizuki shutdown, which usually consists of forgetting how to do the simplest of day to day activities.

kageyama scowls as he looks back down at her after handing the pair of skates to the couple that waited on the other side of the counter.
mizuki is left in utter shock at what her best friend had so rudely confessed. she turns away from him with a dramatic gasp.
βi canβt believe you just said thatβ
the sullen boy simply shrugs as he steps away and opens the small divider door to get out of the back of the counter.
βiβm going to the restroom. you take care of this next customerβ he hides his devilish smile from the girl with periwinkle hair.
βwhat, no! come back!β mizuki quickly spins back around but remains sitting down in fear of being seen.
all she wanted was to spend the rest of her shift hiding beside the shelves of roller skates. perhaps she could hideaway in the small kitchen and have the new kid cover for her.
mizuki was willing to sacrifice their newest co-worker in training just to hide away from well you know. him.
she slowly brings herself up to her feet and as she does, her eyes are met with the hem of a black hoodie. and as she slowly looks up past the chest she is met with this lovely grayish-yellow narrow eyes she had so desperately wanted to avoid.
without saying a single word, she grabs at the ends of her hair in a state of panic and falls back down to the ground. she tightens her grip on the strands of her hair.
βcan we get some pizza.β
she pulls on the hair tie on her wrist and lets it snap back, hoping the sting would calm her down.
she springs up back on her feet and with a sudden change in the tone of her voice to something much sweeter and she isnβt really aware of it.
βoh, hello!β
she greets him not by his name since she isnβt too sure if he actually is aware of her existence. and she doesnβt want to embarrass herself more than she already has.
βwhat kind of pizza will you guys be havi-β
the golden yellow-haired male interrupts mizuki and puts a hand on sunaβs shoulder with a very curiously raised brow.
βwait a minute. isnβt she that that chick outside your house that had that total wipeout yesterday.?β

finds herself spending more time stargazing
with the pretty boy next door instead of practicing
for her ballet solo.
