As I walked down the hallway to my class I grew self conscious. Like if I was being judged by one glance. I moved my bag from my back to the front to cover my stomach. I felt as if my stomach was growing by the second.
"Why are you doing that?"
Shocked I turned around to notice it was just Nishinoya who decided to talk to me. I must've been to distracted to notice his presence before. But nonetheless I decide to to reply to his question.
"Doing what?"
"Covering your stomach with your bag when earlier it was in your back"
So he noticed the sudden change in my bag. No one ever notices simple changes like that.
"It feels more comfortable that's all"
"You're not telling me the whole reason (Y/N)"
His voice was a bit more stern this time. He knew about me being insecure just not what I was insecure about. The hallway seemed almost empty so I decided to tell him the truth.
"I hate how my stomach looks and how it feels like it's growing by the instant"
"Can I tell you something (Y/N)"
"Sure"
Was all I responded back scarred of what he might say.
"I love how your stomach looks to me it seems like the most beautiful stomach in the world"
Those words made me want to cry and laugh at the same time. I didn't even feel when a year drop fell from your eye. Suddenly Nishinoya did something unexpected at the moment he grabbed my head at brought it to his chest and said...
"If you ever feel like crying I'll always be here for you"
All I did now was cry into his shoulder until we had to go to class again.
