ALEC

I hear my mom yell at me from downstairs "Alec hurry and get up, it's eight fifteen, school starts in thirty minutes!"

"Okay I'm almost done" I reply back. I was lying though, I've been ready.

I got up at six and my anxiety wouldn't let me forget that my first day of school was in a just two hours, so since I couldn't go back to sleep I got dressed and have just been lying in bed since.

I've been home schooled my whole life, the only reason I have to start going to school is because my moms business finally became big last summer after four years.

I told her I could just drop out of school but she didn't want to hear any of that.

I really didn't want to go to school, I only knew Alex, my girlfriend, and there's no way we would have any classes together since she's a grade ahead of me.

Going to places full of people I don't know gives me anxiety so I don't really know why my parents thought it would be a good idea to send me to school.

I let out a quiet groan when I hear my mom starting to climb up the steps, getting out of bed I grab my backpack and walked out the door just as Mom made it to the top of the stairs.

"You ready?" She huffed out. I don't know if it's because me and my mom are omegas or if we're just unhealthy people, but stairs are our worst enemy.

I nodded looking up into her eyes and giving her a small smile when I saw her giving me a worried look.

"I'll be fine." I reassured her and myself.

She walks up to me and pulls me into a tight hug that I gladly lean into. "Just one year then I'll have enough money to hire workers so that I can stay home with you." She says while rubbing small circles on my back.

"I know Mom" I reply into her shoulder

"Okay. let's go then" she says while pulling away and giving me a reassuring smile before heading back towards the stairs.

Taking a deep breath I whisper to myself before following after "Okay I've got this."
