Lucy Heartfilia lays in her bed at 3:00 am with hundreds and thousands of thoughts swirling around in her head, only thinking about one specific person; Natsu Dragneel.
All she wonders is if he even notices her, or if he evens takes a single glance at her.
A tear slips down her cheek thinking about all that could go wrong. Maybe he doesnβt know she exists or doesnβt care for her existence.
she had to get over Natsu because he was slowly killing her from the inside out without even knowing it himself.
She walks down the hall with her head down low
Scared to meet his eyes
Even when she hears his voice, sheβs swarmed with butterflies
As the sun rises and morning comes. She gets up wiping all the stray tears away and gets ready for the long and tormenting day ahead of her
Walking to her homeroom with heavy textbooks in her arms, hugged close to her chest. Lucy takes a deep breath before walking down the crowded halls.
She had her head down low suddenly finding the bare floors of the hallway interesting.
While passing by where Natsu and his friends were huddled she couldnβt look up. If she did her plan would go out the window, sheβll fall for him even harder, her knees would give out on her and her heartbeat would pick up.
It took Lucy everything she had to not lift her head and look into his brown eyes through her blonde bangs resting in front of her face.
But just hearing his voice and laughter as she walked by, sent her head spinning, she could feel butterflies were swarming in her stomach.
So she picked up her pace and slightly started to sprint to her homeroom.

As Lucy quickly ran into homeroom she sat down in her usual spot; the back corner of the classroom. the teacher walked in and immediately started talking. And Lucy stared out the window, drifting off into a wonderful daydream once again.
everything she did, everything she saw and every thought she could think of reminded her of him.
Towards the end of the day, Lucy became exhausted. All of her thoughts crowded in her mind became so tiring.
She was about to drop her head onto her desk and fall asleep for the last period until a mess of pink hair caught her attention.
Natsu had come into the class giving the teacher a stack of papers then flashing a heart-melting smile before leaving the class.
He probably doesnβt even know her name, so she came to a conclusion. It didnβt matter anymore. She could never get the chance to call him herβs.
She dropped her head into her arms that were currently crossed on her desk and closed her eyes, trying to get rid of him and her thoughts out of her head.
But instead, tears rolled down her cheeks as this broken and empty feeling took over.
Ew ok.
