Introduction (not first chapter)
At age 7, we are divided into two main groups: submissive and dominant personalities; from there we have males and females and other gender identities in each category and have ranging sexualities. At age 18, the submissives are officially introduced to eligible dominants at a masquerade ball at the end of the year called the Celestial Ball. After the submissives are introduced there are bi-weekly functions and events that allow the dominants to court the submissives and for them to interact overall.
Aili is a gentle girl with the purest outlook on life. Her soft-spoken and introverted nature led her to be designated a submissive role in life earlier than most other children her age. While a very sensitive and anxious girl, she projects calm and tranquility. At Asterion Academy, Aili meets and befriends two other girls who end up becoming her roommates after the induction ceremony. Florence, known as Flo, and Amarante, known as Mara, knew each other coming into the Academy, whereas Aili had been there her whole life after being taken in by one of the chefs as a baby. Their eighteenth birthdays are quickly approaching and with them the end of the year masquerade ball where they will be introduced to all eligible dominants
Oliver is the son and heir of one of the wealthiest and most powerful men in business, and all he wants is to find a little angel to protect and cherish. Being the eldest brother of five really fuels his desire for a partner whom he can spoil and pleasure. On the exterior, he projects pure dominance and power, but deep down he's a real softy for the ones he holds dear to him. As time goes on he starts to lose hope of ever finding his perfect match, he is now 24 and all women want from him are money and fame. He promised his mother he would keep going to the balls but had given up on attending all follow-up functions.
I just want to reiterate that this will contain mature themes: BDSM life, submissives, dominants... if you're not cool with that please just move along.
For the purpose of this story, switches will not really be featured or mentioned but are “sorted” based on their more natural state: sub or dom.
