Chapter 1
Having a friend circle that totally gets you and has your freaking back is not less than a blessing. Not all trips go as planned. Something’s mess up and all friends try hard to stick together during those times.
Jeremy’s POV
Today is the last day of our Junior Year here at EAST HIGH. I and my friends have planned this perfect trip from our Freshman Year.
As the bell rings, I grab my bag and get out of my class as soon as possible. When I’m on my way towards the gate, Jake jumps in front of me from nowhere and he is excited as much as I’m for the get-away we planned for this spring break
“So where are we meeting for the decision dude?” Jake asks me as I look in my phone.
“I have no idea maybe we could meet at Aroma”
“Yeah, that would be great. I will text everyone about that.” I continue after a deep breath.
“So, meet you there Jeremy. Bye” Jake replies to me and walk towards someone.
Elena’s POV
When I hear the bell, I get up from seat and remove my phone from my bag and even my headphones I connect them and play 911 by Ellise.
As I’m walking towards my locker, I text Rick to see where he is, I still can’t believe we survived whole 3 months.
As I remove all the stuff which I need to take home back. I feel someone’s hand on my waist and when I turn back and I see Rick.
He kisses me as I turn back then he hands me some beautiful Lilies.
“Aww thanks babe!” He kisses on my forehead as I reply him.
“Welcome babe! So, did you see the text from Jeremy, where we are meeting tonight for our dream vacation?” Rick asks me
“No, I was just removing the stuff from the locker.” I reply with a weird smile because I was supposed to remove my stuff last week.
“Okay.” Rick says with a kiss.
“Okay! So where are we meeting?” I ask him with a smile.
“I guess Aroma, but I think that we would be leaving tomorrow night itself I saw Jer in the hallway and he told me that.” He replies with excitement
“Yeah, that’s great. Did you see Suzan I wanted to talk to her?” I ask Rick as I put the things in a basket.
“I guess all her exams were done early and she left school I guess almost 1 hour ago.” He replies while he leans on the next locker.
“Okay I will just talk later with her tonight.” I reply as I pick up the basket.
Rick takes the basket from me and then we walk towards his car.
Suzan’s POV
After I finish all my classes. I have no idea how I’m the only one who is finishing classes this semester almost an hour before everyone.
In a way that great so I can get home early and help my mother with the decorations.
I go towards my locker and grab the few things which are left in the locker and get to the car I don’t want to go home but I have to.
As one of my Uncle is coming especially from India after his studies on the rich, royal and great culture.
He moved with my parents here before my birth from INDIA but uncle was interested in history so he went back to India for studies.
I was never raised as an Indian child even though both my parents are Indian. My grandmother thinks that I should get to know more Indian culture.
When I reach home, I get text from Jeremy that we are meeting at Aroma at 5 for the planning of our dream vacation.
It’s like 3 pm now I have more 2-hour spare.
As I enter in my house I search for my mother, I find her in kitchen making Indian snacks for my Uncle.
“Hey mum” I say as I keep my bag on the dining table.
“Hey dear, how was your school today?”
“It was great I’m all done with my work this semester. I am going out at 5 for planning things about the vacation with my friends.”
“That sounds great dear! So, when are you guys leaving?” She asks me as she turns to face me.
“I have no idea when but, we will decide this evening”
I help my mother making some sweets.
Approx. 2 hours later.
I take a look at the Alexa in kitchen and I see it’s almost 5.15.
“Oh, shit mum I’m late I will be home later Bye!” I kiss my mother on her cheek as I leave.
I grab my bag which has everything I took to school today even my phone I check my phone while I get in my car.
I got almost 5 calls from Jimmy. I dial his number and put my phone on speaker while I fire my car.
*Over phone*
“Hey where are you all are here?”
“Yeah, I’m on my way please order me a latte I will be there in 5 minutes”
“Okay bye”
“Bye”
I reach in about 15 minutes.
When I reach Aroma, I see everyone’s car out.
“Hey, Suzan where have you been?” Jeremy asks
“I was with my mother we were making snacks.” As I sit between Jimmy and Sam.
Our order is already on the table, on the other side of Sam is Andrew and just opposite to me is Elena and Rick besides them is Jeremy, beside Jeremy is Jake.
“So, what did I miss?” I ask as I take sip of my latte.
“Nothing much we are leaving tomorrow evening” Jeremy answers
“Like tomorrow? Are you serious my Uncle is visiting, what time?” I ask with confusion.
“We will meet till 8 pm at Jimmy’s place then we will load our luggage and leave till 9pm after few drinks?” Jeremy replies.
“Totally works!” Elena replies
“We will reach there by 3 or 4 am and then we can go trekking we can watch sunrise from the mountain in front of the cabin.” Jeremy confirms.
“Sounds romantic” Sam says and kisses Andrew.
“I will try to be there by 8:30, hope that’s okay because tomorrow’s dinner is kind of important” I reply with a bit of hesitation in my voice.
“Your Mother wants this? I thought she was against this all reunion thing” Sam says
“Yeah I thought too but she was making snacks and all I guess she somehow agreed about all this” I reply.
We all sit together planning things we will be doing on the vacation.
