Chapter 1
She haunted his sleep yet again. He didn’t even know who she was all he knew was he wanted her. And anything or anyone he wanted would eventually be his. He wanted her dance enticing the crowd. They called her the masked dancer and she lived up to the name.
Rosary Kim was a pole dancer in the club called Pandemonium. Little did she know it was frequent for demons when they are wishing to gaze upon humans. Rose wore a black lace masquerade mask so no one would recognize her. She wishes she didn’t have to degrade herself like this, but it was her only choice if she wanted to pay her loan off in time.
When her parents were still alive they visited a loan shark to get enough money to pay for her brother’s hospital treatments. Her brother died two years later and her parents died in enormous debt. The loan shark known as big fish on the streets told her if she doesn’t produce the money in a month he would put her in the hospital.
“Please, all I’m asking for is a small extension. I don’t have your money, but I will get it.”
“So you don’t have money to pay me, but you have money to pay your rent and electricity bill.”
“If I don’t pay that I’ll be out on the streets, but I swear every penny that doesn’t go to that goes to you.”
“Well you want an extension so bad, Imma need some collateral.”
“I sold anything of any value to pay back this loan. I don’t have anything I can offer up as collateral.”
“You do have one thing,” he says looking hungrily at her body.
Tears stream down her eyes as she tries to run away, but he grabs her and shoves her against his desk. He leans over her rubbing his going over her private area. He whispers in her ear, “Don’t worry sweetness after this your debt is forgiven.”
She elbows him in the solar plexus and says, “Get off of me you pig.”
She runs out knowing she made a mistake. He knows where she lives, all the places she works, and he knows the one secret no one else does. That she is the masked dancer.
Her stage name is Valarie, but her regulars just call her Val. When she gets on stage she sees big fish waiting for her in a VIP booth. As she walked past him he pulled her down into his lap. He was about to take off her lace mask, her biggest fear, when his man whispered something in his ear.
Rosary got back on stage and acted like nothing happened. He made eye contact with her, but she broke it thinking he worked for big fish and was sent to intimidate her. He saw her sad eyes and more than anything wanted to hold her close and comfort her. His eyes study her every detail.
Her black hair tied up in a messy bun most likely to keep her hair out of her face. It would come to her waist if it was down. Her eyes filled with so much sadness were dark brown giving the illusion of black, but you could tell the slight difference in her irises and pupils. Her eyes were monolid and had a slight upward turn.
Her skin tone was fair with a hint of gold. Her waist went slightly in from her bust and went further out on her waist. Her bust wasn’t small or big. She had a fairly large bottom, but not large enough to look fake. She was petite at 5’, but taller than some of her fellow dancers. She also wears eight inch high heels to make her legs look longer.
