Chapter 1: where the heck am I ?
I woke up at 5:41 a.m after a really strange dream about me being some type of proficy child...or something. But, too tired for the night, I went on ahead and slept....
At least that’s what I thought.
Something pokes me as I slowly wake up…
I wake up to the sight of a nekomata (how did I know was because she had 2 split tails). When I woke up she was just keeling down and starring at me. It was when I realized that she actually had 4 eyes it scared me to the point that I yelled “S-stay back!” I screamed. when I yelled for her to stay back she got frightened and ran to the tall torii gate that I guessed was the entrance.”Oh I’m sorry... did I scare you?” I ask politely, as I was getting ready to run she suddenly slowly walks towards me but then stops immediately as she misinterprets my practice katana for a real one. Her irises sharpen as she starts to growl at me as she then says “Who are you, what are you doing here?” she asked in a stern voice as I then take the chance to run away into the bamboo forest as she follows. She then suddenly catches up to me and grabs my arm with a firm grip and asks me again, “You came here just so you could murder somebody here...AREN’T YOU!?” she said,”I-I don’t want to murder anybody ok...I-I don’t even know why I’m here!” I say as I pull off her hand and sprint off as fast as I can to get away from her.
Suddenly I then bump into another person who I then realized was a kitsune I started to cry In fear thinking that shes gonna kill me also as she then quickly looks back at me and gasps in shock “Ooh I-I’m sorry a-are you ok my child?” the kitsune says as she tries to comfort me. Then the nekomata who was chasing me finally caught up to me and said, “Toto be careful the kid has a-!”, “Tonari its fine its only a practice katana that he has.” the kitsune said calmly.
Tonari then gasps in realization as she then sadly says “Oh...I’m sorry, please forgive me for scaring you...” she starts to sob quietly, but I then give her an apology hug so I could make her feel better again. “I’m sorry for scaring you also.” I say as she rubs my head slowly and I rub the tears of off her face. “do you think we should take him to our house?” Tonari asks, “Would you like to come and stay at our house for now?” Toto asks me, “*sob* Y-yes please.” after the confirmation both Toto kitori and Tonari hakana side by side take me to there home.
